In the Master’s program in Mechanical Engineering, the knowledge acquired in the Bachelor’s program is extended and deepened in such a way that the graduate is able to deal with complex engineering issues and, in particular, to carry out independent scientific work.
The first two semesters provide in-depth training in the various areas of mechanical engineering (see combination of subjects). The third semester is primarily devoted to the preparation of the Master’s thesis.
Different specializations can be selected:
- General mechanical engineering
- Energy and process engineering
- Product Engineering
- Ship and offshore technology
- Foundry technology
- Metal processing and application
