The Master of Science Software and Network Engineering aims to provide graduates with projects and lectures in the fields of Network Systems Engineering and Software System Engineering.
To prepare for the application of modern methods of design of distributed computing systems and to provide skills for the design of software layers, in-depth knowledge of current methods and procedures in software development and corresponding theories.
In order to achieve these goals, the teaching of the material and the outlined competences is realized through the didactic concept of a project-oriented course of study. In the first three semesters, specialist and non-scientific competences are taught in larger student group projects – the so-called project groups – in addition to some lectures. The fourth semester is devoted to the preparation of the Master’s thesis.
