The Bachelor’s programme of 210 credits is divided into basic studies and specialization each with 30 credits per semester.
Basic studies (1-4 Semester):
The modules of the first four semesters are basically compulsory modules, which must be taken by all students. These four semesters are determined by modules of scientific basics as well as modules with introductions to the basic concepts of planning, constructing and building from different points of view.
Specialization (5-7 Semester) :
The specialist course comprises the 5th to 7th semester with a few compulsory modules and predominantly elective modules as well as the final project or Bachelor’s thesis. The decision on the choice of subjects is made after the fourth semester in consultation with a mentor and is binding. One goal may be, for example, the orientation with regard to the potential specialisation in the Master’s programme.
In this study section, the previously acquired knowledge is deepened within the framework of various modules of applied subjects with practical relevance. The 7th semester is characterized by the final thesis or optionally the Bachelor thesis.
